Frank & Sandy - we are a retired couple who began fly fishing in 2006; loving the sport, we decided to further our interest, and began to tie flies under the name, Bevo's Flies. We can credit our beginning to Dick Babine, of the Scarborough Fly Fishing Academy, who taught us both fly fishing and fly tying. We bought book after book of fly tying patterns, and began to search the internet for patterns & supplies, and set up a fly tying shop in our basement. The addiction began!

In 2007, we discovered fly tying lessons at Eldredge Bros. fly shop-Cape Neddick, Maine, perhaps the premier fly shop in the state, if not New England! Their fly tying materials are second to none - if they don't have it, you don't need it. Eldredge has fly tying classes each Saturday during the winter months and brings in fishing guides and professional fly tiers to teach their tried and true patterns to the class. Check them out at Eldredge Fly Shop and see what they have to offer.
